Hello beautiful people! I know it’s Monday and most of us are not eager for this day of the week. At least I know I’m not, haha. Anyhow, it’s a beautiful day in Jersey and I’m already feeling the warm temperature through me. Springtime is approaching, and I’m excited to wear t-shirts and shorts as if I’m in Hawaii, Aloha! (I wish, if you know me, you’d know I have a deep passion for islands and tropical places). I’ll definitely visit there when I have time, if you haven’t, we could meet up. For now, Cape May or Avalon will suffice it. It’s two of the few iconic shores of New Jersey. Better than nothing. Anyways, I hope you’re safe and that God is in your prayers for whatever you go through. Today, we will be talking about Psalm 119:105 NIV. It states Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. It’s a very short verse to the very long chapters of Psalm songs. So therefore, today will be a very short blog to read. Let’s begin.

God is the Light to Our Feet

As we all know, we fall short of the Glory of God. We all sin every day no matter who we are. Even as a Christian, I sinned yesterday and I know God was disappointed. I was disappointed in myself, but more importantly I was disappointed that I let Him down. I asked Him to forgive me and He did. No matter how many times we’ve sinned, as long we ask for forgiveness, He forgives. There’s time we tried our best not to sin but we did anyway and we felt that God would eventually be fed up with us. This is not true because He is a Merciful Father, and once again, as long we ask for forgiveness, He forgives. No matter how many times. This brings me to the verse Matthew 18:21-22 and it states: 21. “Then Peter came up and said to Him, "Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” 22. Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times” So essentially this verse means since Jesus, the Son of God is able to forgive people seventy-seven times or more, God Himself is able to also. No matter how times we sinned, it’s important to know that Godly sorrows are worthy of forgiveness in God’s eyes. Why would Him for forgiveness? Simply put, because He is the Light for our dark feet. By dark feet, I mean walking into the dark path of sin. He is the light that guides our feet to salvation. It’s the right path to go and He and Jesus set an example of what a godly life should be like. The Holy Spirit is one of the trinity of the Light for our dark feet. It is given to us once we ask for forgiveness, follow His light, and obey every commend He tells us. After it’s the right path to an everlasting life. His Word is the lamp to our darkness.

Do you want God to give you light to your feet? Are you willing to obey His command once you accept His offer to an everlasting life?
