Good afternoon my beautiful people! It’s a beautiful day in New Jersey and it’s time to get back to blogging. Today we are going to be discussing about the book of Psalms chapter 37 verse 16. It states: A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. In the next paragraph we are going to elaborate the meaning of this verse and give some examples as to why the Good Lord mentioned this. Here we go:

poor in finance, rich in spirit

God wants us to understand that no matter how poor we are in finances, we should be rich in spirit. There are millions of poor and unemployed people all around the world due to the pandemic and a lot of us are lost without God. Although it comes in many different sizes, this is when something as small as a mustard seed called faith is needed. Even if they haven’t found God yet. How do we build faith without God? Well, we can start realizing that we are still alive, and that we are still able to make something out of ourselves. Start working at a dead-end job or something to keep us afloat, or even if your’e on disability and your’e physically disabled to work, you’d still want to be rich in spirit and not just in finance. Despite the financial hardships, there are a lot to the thankful for and use the little things we have to optimize it for our well being. That would be one way to survive, mentally and financially. To those who haven’t found God or disregards His existence, just know that He loves us all no matter how much or little we have in material possessions. To think He only favors a financially rich person who works hard for their money and deserves everything they received on earth would be foolish. God doesn’t favor anyone over others. His only favor is for us all to have His Glory in our hearts, no matter their financial status. To have His Glory in our hearts is far more richer than having riches in our bank accounts.

Rich in Finance, poor in spirit

The American Dream. Or, The [Insert Your Desired Country] Dream. It’s a good thing to achieve and it’ll make our lives much easier financially. However, to have such dream without God in it? That would be life’s biggest mistake. There are countless millionaires and billionaires who made a name for themselves and they enjoy every lavish man-made possessions that will not be seen in Heaven. There are countless millionaires and billionaires who gives back to the less fortunate and is making a difference in the world, but will not see Heaven. There are countless millionaires and billionaires who get the wrong idea of living a righteous life through God. It’s sad because while their heart may be in the right place, they are not headed to the right place since they haven’t found God in their hearts. The right place I’m referring to is an everlasting life, and it’s far richer than anything that are seen or possessed on earth. Now, God is not saying we can’t enjoy our wealth since we’ve worked hard for it. To every man whom God has given wealth and possessions, he has also given him the ability to eat from them, to receive his reward, and to find enjoyment in his toil; these things are the gift of God.-Ecclesiastes 5:18. However, enjoying it all without the love or acknowledgement of our dear Lord is costly. While the possessions were pricy to buy, The lack of love or belief of God is infinitely pricier than that. Infinitely. Sure, Abraham, Lot, David, Joesph of Arimathea were all fabulously wealthy, but they all had God in their hearts, and were obedient to Him throughout their lives. Sadly, the wicked has the largest share of worldly things, and those who are wicked in possessions have no idea that to be righteous while having little is far more precious than life itself. We all have to pray for the wicked, and most importantly we all have to pray for each other. No matter if we are rich or poor. We all fall short of the Glory of God, and it’s easy even for the most righteous man to lose track of God’s instructions.

God loves us all, rich or poor. However, it’s infinitely better to be rich in spirit, than to just be rich in finance. Infinitely. God is love. Shalom.

Peace and Love
